Individual Integration Process

Weaving the Journey with Life

Integration is a process in which a person revisits and actively engages in making sense of, working through, translating, and processing the content of their psychedelic experience. Through intentional effort and supportive practices, this process allows one to gradually capture and incorporate the emergent lessons and insights into their lives.
— GEOFF J. BATHJE

Kiyumí is dedicated to providing integration support for long lasting positive change. Within a deep understanding of the complexities and nuances involved in navigating psychedelic experiences, our team offers compassionate guidance and support to people seeking to integrate their journeys into their everyday lives.

Kiyumí’s individual integration process is a one-on-one journey with our integration therapists, providing a safe space to unpack, process, and integrate the vast array of emotions as well as possible insights gained from their psychedelic experiences.

These personalized sessions are offered for those Kiyumí participants who would like to further explore their learning beyond the support given within our programs.

Though our essence is universal, each person represents a wonderful and distinct universe. As such, our integration therapists have diverse therapeutic backgrounds to attend to particular needs and inclinations.

Please feel free to contact the integration therapist who speaks to you to coordinate your integration session.

Our Integration
Therapists

Lia is a psychotherapist, trained in body-based talk therapy. With deep listening, we harvest the journey’s gift as a felt sense. Embodying our insight, as a new intuitive self.

Using this precious moment of neuroplasticity to re-learn new patterns, aligned with our psychedelic journey, towards living more intentionally.

Trusting that once this is learned - we cannot unlearn it, yet learn how to lean into it.

Lia integrates in her work, trauma-informed resources of body-based talk therapy: Somatic psychotherapy (Hakomi, focusing, SE), Accessing deep insight and intuition upon listening to the felt sense in the body, the nonverbal expression of what is said in words. Behavioral psychotherapy (ACT, CBT), hands-on practice to promote change with compassionate awareness of mental and emotional patterning.

On her path, Lia was privileged to encounter teachers and healers from various disciplines of consciousness inquiry. In service of this compassionate wisdom beyond ideas, Her work with plant medicine as a student, guide and an integration therapist is her most precious field of practice.

Lia brings years of experience working with individuals through a spectrum of human situations, including depression, anxiety, and other challenges stemming from childhood trauma.

Avner in first person:

I first encountered the magic of mushrooms in 2008 in the steep mountains of South India. For a few weeks I dove deep into the ever changing web of mycelial world. This experience merged into my ongoing buddhist journey, shining light on insights of inter-being and non-duality.

Between 2009 and 2014 I was working on my masters degree in literature and creative writing, focusing my research on the transformative potential of poetic collaboration. During those years I had the privilege to encounter two different traditions of sacred work with plant medicine: the Santo Daime and the Camino Rojo, paths that I keep on walking to this day. Those are my actual "universities" - where I learn the essence of prayer, music, healing and beauty, backed by the power of community and friendship.

After finishing my degree and working as a creative writing teacher, I had a strong calling to deepen my relationship to the physical body. This calling emerged from my psychedelic experiences, as the medicine kept on showing me that my direction to deep connection with life is in somatic awareness.

This insight led me to begin my training in the school of "Body Intelligence", and since 2018 I am a certified practitioner in the field of biodynamic craniosacral therapy. In the past years I have given private bodywork sessions in my clinic as well as teaching workshops on relational touch and living anatomy.

The essence of my work as a therapist is to support my patients' experience of a deep sense of safety in the body, through compassionate somatic listening, and acceptance of a full spectrum of emotions.

As for supporting people in their psychedelic journeys - I see it as a service, as a giving back - after all of the immense support I have received in my own personal journey. I feel privileged to be able to provide a stable and loving assistance to my fellow seekers on this beautiful path of healing and realization.
